Who are we? Where did we come from?
Benchmark started existence as Lewis Cabinets in the 1970’s. To meet a growing demand for custom cabinetry and commercial casework from regional healthcare, education and church clients, Benchmark purchased Lewis Cabinets in 2002. After continuing operations in the original Lewis facility for several years, a new and larger facility was constructed in 2007. This facility incorporated modern equipment and a new, organized floor plan to allow production of casework more quickly and at a lower cost. A full building dust collection system was incorporated to provide a safe working environment for our employees. Since 2007, multiple additions have been constructed to accommodate the growing business.
In 2020, Benchmark installed a large solar power generating system that now supply’s much of the electrical energy required for production in an environmentally clean manner.
